Yellow Sisters are four singers, four voices, four souls, four attitudes how to grasp melody, rhythm and mood to create music. They easily move across different styles such as soul, funk, r´n´b, world music, jazz and reggae. Yellow Sisters are masters of sound illusion. They experiment with their voices and harmonies in order to make up unique atmosphere of everything that inspires them. Nature - the world.
Our offer is up to 90 minutes of colourful programme composed of multistyle inspiration and African songs.
Yellow Sisters are:
Lucie Hawa Goldin (Éterity, dancer and choreographer of TidiTade)
Léňa (Yellow Family, Babylon Station, DC Band, Tomato 22)
Bára (Yellow Family, Forbidden Fruit, Funky Feast, Levelrise)
Tony Nyass (Éterity)
Tony & Hawa started to sing in the a`capella band Éterity where
they truly fell in love with
the voice and rhythm experimenting. Both are firmly connected with African
culture which is very much readable in their passionate vocals and rhytmical
feelings. They participate on various projects of African music.
Léňa & Bára co-operate since 2000. They formed Yellow Sisters
as an a`capella trio while
travelling round Europe with a street-performance programme. After several
musical missions - Berlin, Madrid, Las Palmas (Gran Canaria), which led
to a
visit of The Gambia and to a project Czech-Gambian Connection, they
linked with Tony and Hawa.
